#11 Pollination | The Daily Doodle

Today’s doodle is about pollination.

I’m captivated by nature documentaries. It's a delight to learn about the intricate lives that currently exist or once thrived on our planet.

One evolution that fascinates me most stems from plants (pun intended). Pollination was a revolutionary act that allowed Earth to host 320,000 species of plant life.

Pollination is so powerful that it inspires other life forms to evolve for the job. A beautiful coevolution is between the sword-billed hummingbird and the passionflower Passiflora mixta.

It makes me wonder what we are meant to share in this world that is uniquely suited for our collection of DNA and cells.
