#20 Clubs | The Daily Doodle

Today’s doodle is about clubs.

Nightlife is the most underrated scene. In Knoxville, the nightlife scene is the equivalent of discovering crumbs under the couch—nasty!

A dream project is to design a club that elevates Knoxville to the crème de la crème standard of hubs like Brooklyn.

Back in August, my girls and I went to an AfroPunk after-party in Brooklyn. The space was foggy, with pink strobe lights beaming throughout the warehouse. The spot was happening!

We enjoyed all styles of dance in a single space, from afrobeats to hip hop to house, all while grooving to EDM remixes of 2000s favorites like Sean Paul and Rihanna.

It was awe-inspiring!
