#25 Dumb | The Daily Doodle

A pinch of salt, not a cup!

Today’s doodle is about dumb.

I worked at a bakery during college. From 4 am to noon, I baked quiches, biscuits, croissants—you name it. It was a delicious time.

Until, I made the grave mistake of adding cups of salt, not tablespoons, to the Thanksgiving batch of quiches. The level of salt in these tarts was borderline evil.

Can you guess the valuable lesson I learned that day? It wasn’t about owning your mistakes or being cautious before taking action.

I learned that I was dumb. I don’t know it all and definitely cannot act mindlessly. And hey, we're all in the same boat. None of us knows everything.

Today’s invitation:

I invite you to share your dumb moment. Maybe you pulled cookies out of the oven without an oven mitt. Or said 'you too' when the server said, “Enjoy your meal”.
