#53 Thrifting | The Daily Doodle

Today’s doodle is about thrifting.

One of my partner's favorite shows is Mad Men. During the pandemic, while doom scrolling through Facebook Marketplace, I stumbled upon a refurbished globe bar. The aesthetics were *muah* perfect for anyone looking to channel their inner Don Draper.

He was genuinely surprised and fully on board. We embarked on a journey all the way to the backyards of Chattanooga to pick it up, and it found its perfect spot in our living room.

However, in our excitement, we overlooked a crucial element for the globe bar – the booze! Since we aren't big drinkers, we ended up discovering alternative uses for the globe, from a plant holder to a Christmas tree stand. It serves better as a kitty playhouse than a bar.
