#66 Pleasure | The Daily Doodle

Today’s doodle is about pleasure.

Every day, I treat myself to a simple pleasure—a steaming hot shower accompanied by precisely four softly lit, unscented candles. Their gentle glow intertwines with the steam, creating a similar vibe to a high-end spa.

This is a simple pleasure that nine-year-old me would never have imagined I'd come to appreciate. Back then, pleasures were running unsupervised in the woods or playing hours of video games without parents nagging me to finish my homework.

As adults, we're living out the deepest desires of our childhood selves simply by being adults and having the option to do anything we want.
