#76 Casey’s | The Daily Doodle

Today’s doodle is about Casey’s.

As I type this, I'm sitting in a Casey's gas station, patiently waiting for the gas tank to fill. There's a bold banner on the storefront that proudly exclaims "Fresh Pizza." Casey's, stepping in as a Pilot replacement, aimed for a fresh look and, most importantly, fresh pizza.

In our neighborhood, we have a Casey's just up the street from our house. Its storefront showcases a banner that optimistically reads "Pizza Coming Soon." Placed almost a year ago, this sign's promise of "coming soon" seems to fade into the ether, much like the anticipation for the infamous gas station pizza.

This subtle promise is a gentle reminder that life is filled with numerous commitments. Some live up to the hype, while others quietly vanish into the passage of time.
